Mid Semester Update

Little mid semester dump for your viewing pleasure...

Wizard of Oz Book Cover

Wizard of Oz End Page and Bookplate

End Page continued and Titlepage

The project was for a class at my University under the instruction of the ever talented Jessica Hische(check her out if you haven't already!). The project was to create a book cover, end page, and title page for an anniversary edition of the Wizard of Oz. Jessica taught our class the ins and outs of hand lettering which I now can't get enough of!

This guy was for my figurative class, we were given a word and we needed to illustrate the word using a figure to portray it. My word was "ashamed".

These guys were also for figurative. The assignment was a diptych project of a celebrity. I chose
to do young vs old. Bill Murray. The man.

This was for an editorial article, first assignment of the semester actually. The idea here was that with social networks, the person's profile you're viewing isn't actually what you might get meeting them in real life.

Anyways, that's all for now. I'm dead broke and I've got a tons more drawing to do. Here's hoping I'll start having something to show for all the stuff I do...le sigh...
