Crazy4Cult 5: Pulp Fiction Retro-vibe

I had the pleasure of being invited to one of the biggest shows of the year, hosted by Kevin Smith it's Gallery 1988's Crazy4Cult 5!

I was able to create a poster for one of my favorite movies of all time...yup, Pulp Fiction!
An edition of 50, the 1st edition framed will be available at the show and the other 49 will be available for pre-order at exclusively at Gallery 1988.

The show starts July 8th at their Melrose location over in Los Angeles.

Also, I'd like to apologize to anyone who's been trying to order from my store, I'm currently in the process of checking inventory and updating prices. Expect the store back up at the end of the week, with a special little bonus surprise :)

  2. Of course! This poster is inspired by vintage Polish movie poster design. It's to be simple, naive, and to the point.

Here I've portrayed Mia's eyes and unforgettable hair style at the top with a subtle hint to the overdose scene.

The two arms at the bottom belong to Vince Vega and Jules Winnfield. The two aren't pointing the guns at each other, rather, they have each others backs. Although at points they don't see eye to eye, so it can be taken either way.

I focused on these three characters as I felt these were the characters Marcellus Wallace had direct control over. I opted not to use any of the imagery from Butch Coolidge as he was the only character that was not playing along with Marcellus.

Overall, the undertone of the poster tributes to Marcellus and his closest ones.
